The problem

Order, production and dispatch status lived in spreadsheets and messages spread across plants, so nobody had a single reliable view of where a job actually was. Staff needed the same information on the shop floor, in the office and on the road.

The approach

1. 01

   Modelled orders, plants, production stages and shipments in PostgreSQL with row-level security so each plant sees only its own scope.

2. 02

   Built a single Flutter codebase deploying to web, Android and Windows, so one build serves office desktops, floor tablets and phones.

3. 03

   Implemented realtime sync via Supabase so status changes propagate to every connected client without refreshes.

4. 04

   Added role-based access for plant operators, supervisors and management with audit trails on status transitions.
